One Great Tip: It’s OK To Be Selling Right Now

Right now, your first concern is for the people you love. Love is one thing you don’t have to worry about running out of.
However…
All the love in the world doesn’t change the fact that your inbox is filling up with bills.
Curling up on the sofa all day with Netflix is not an option for you.
But, you keep asking yourself…
Is it wrong to be selling during this time?
It’s not wrong. it’s what you should be doing.
The question is: how can I get my head around this concept when everything feels so scary and unreal?
This week I have three great tips for you:
- If you’re feeling that it’s wrong to sell or market during this time, you are literally deciding what your ideal clients and customers need and want. You do not have the right to do that, so just stop it!
- If people need you in good times, they probably need you more during challenging times. It’s your responsibility to let them know you have ways to help them thrive – even now.
- Selling, when done right, is simply supporting someone to move to a better place in their life. Don’t get in their way because you are in your own way right now.
When you come from a place of service, selling is not icky. This is always true.
So, get off the sofa and let the people who need you know you are there for them whether it’s by phone, email, blogging, social media, or virtual networking.
Fondly,
Betsy
